THE BOOK OF REVELATION "APOCALYPSE"

REVELATION IS A LITERARY MASTERPIECE!

...and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be death; there will no longer be sorrow and anguish, or crying, or pain; for the former order of things has passed away...
— Revelation 21:4-4

There exists many misunderstandings about the book of Revelation. So here I try and guide you to the meaning behind the real scriptures. It is not a time to weep in fear, but a time to shout for joy! (Listen to recorded talk). Each religious group may have a different view on the Holy Scriptures, but God gives only one True answer. So we will go over only what God says.

Key Notes For The Book of Revelation:

Apocalypse: Ancient Greek original meaning an uncovering, a disclosure of knowledge, a lifting of the veil. The word Revelation means Apocalypse in Ancient Greek. It is a disclosure of something hidden from the majority of mankind in an era dominated by falsehood and misconception. (There are many false translations of what the book of Revelation actually means.) The veil is what hides the truth from mankind. Far from being a horrible experience, Apocalypse represents the revealing of truth and awareness of the true nature of things. Removal of this cover reveals certain essential truths that will set humankind free from the misery that this world has seen due to its ignorance of truth. The book of Revelation is a divine source for the events to come that God has set in place.

Revelation: is part of the New Testament, the last book in the Bible written by the Apostle John. He was the youngest of the Apostles and survived them. He is said to have lived to an old age, dying at Ephesus sometime after AD 98. He is the only Apostle who was able to not die a murdered death, but in peace.

Armageddon: is the last battle between good and evil before the Day of Judgment. The very last battle on earth. (Revelation 16:16) On a biblical hill of Megiddo, an archaeological site on the plain of Esdraelon, south of present-day Haifa located in Israel.

Satan: (Devil, Lucifer, Fallen Angels, Demons) did not ever, nor will he ever be able to no matter what he seduces the populace to believe, that he is "equal" or "more powerful" than God, YHWH. Satan and his fallen angels only await a final end. All of this worlds greed, evil, and wickedness will perish along with him and be no more. All their lies and deceiving nature come to an end.

When Jesus (Yeshua) returns to earth "for all eyes to see" as the Bible reads, the devil himself will be shown as the demonic being of an actual evil false darkness. Those who willfully decided to follow the mark of the beast, all the ways of the devil himself, they then answer to Jesus Christ.

Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." So we do not read here that God created, Heaven, Earth, and a burning Hell. The symbolic meaning surrounding Hell began with wickedness, which mankind began on earth along with the devil himself.

Sheol: The Hebrew word sheʼohlʹ refers to an under world grave or abyss. The grave; the actual place where bodies are buried and return to the ground.

Hades: The realm of the dead, Sheol.

Death: This is not a literal entity but represents a state of inactivity, the absence of life. Death cannot literally be burned. (Ecclesiastes 9:10;) "there is no activity or planning or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol (the nether world, the place of the dead)".

Ecclesiastes 3:20; 9:5 All go to the same place. All came from the dust and all return to the dust." - "For the living know that they will die; but the dead know nothing.." Psalm 146:4; "When his spirit leaves him, he returns to the earth; In that very day his thoughts and plans perish." Psalm 115:17; "The dead do not praise the Lord, Nor do any who go down into silence.

The dead are not conscious of anything. They can not hear us, speak to us, communicate with us, help us, harm us, their bodies returned to dust. One can't be dead and still conscious alive knowing things, it is impossible, they are simply dead and sleeping in the grave they know nothing, because they are not conscious at all.

Sleeping in the grave also means they will be resurrected "back to life", so they are not perished forever. Only when they are resurrected will they then be conscious again; for you can't have a body without a living soul, soul's don't wonder around the Bible says. The "Breathe of Life" from God is only in the living who are conscious. Those who believe they are talking with dead spirits are being deceived by demonic spirits. These spirits are truly powerless, meaning all they have the power to do is to deceive. They also can not create anything, for only God is the creator. But they can take creation that exists already and damage it, which they do until their end. The dead who are righteous and good rise again, that happens on Gods resurrection day, no one knows the day nor the hour, not even the Son Jesus, but only the Father knows.

Isaiah 26:14 The [wicked] dead will not live [again], the spirits of the dead will not rise and return." - Here we see that the wicked, evil ones, once they die, they do not rise again, but the righteous and good do rise again. Isaiah 26:19; "Your dead will live; their dead bodies will rise. You who lie in the dust, awake and shout for joy!

Dead Spirits: The Bible says that the spirits of the dead are not wandering around, there is a particular place where they go. The Old Testament calls this place Sheol. The Hebrew word Sheol is often translated as Hell in English versions. However this gives the wrong inference. It is never used as the final destination of the wicked, the evil hearted ones.

Ezekiel 18:21-23 “But if the wicked man turns [away] from all his sins which he has committed and keeps all My statutes and practices justice and righteousness, he shall certainly live; he shall not die. 22 All of his transgressions which he has committed will not be remembered against him; because of his righteousness which he has practiced [for his moral and spiritual integrity in every area and relationship], he will live. 23 Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked,” says the Lord God, “rather than that he should turn [away] from his [malevolent] acts and live?"

Resurrection: All those who go to Sheol (hell) the grave, will come back out, brought to life by Jesus through God’s power, his Holy Spirit. Even Jesus went to Sheol hell (the grave) when he died his humanly death. However, “he was not kept in hell,” because God resurrected him, on the third day.

Acts 2:31,32 "he foresaw and spoke [prophetically] of the resurrection of the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed), that He was not abandoned [in death] to Hades (the realm of the dead), nor did His body undergo decay. 32 God raised this Jesus [bodily from the dead], and of that [fact] we are all witnesses. 33 Therefore having been exalted Or by to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has poured out this [blessing] which you both see and hear."

Revelation 30:13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and death and Hades (the realm of the dead) surrendered the dead who were in them; and they were judged and sentenced, every one according to their deeds. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire [the eternal separation from God].

Revelation 20:14 Then death and Hades [the realm of the dead] were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire [the eternal separation from God]. 15 And if anyone’s name was not found written in the Book of Life, he was hurled into the lake of fire.

The Lake Of Fire: The lake of fire is a symbol of eternal destruction, and ending. It is the same as Gehenna, but it is different from Sheol hell; which is the common grave of mankind. Lake of fire is a symbol; as death cant be burned, and spirit eternel beings cant literally burn. It is a cutting off and ending which can only be done by God. It truly is a final destruction.

Gehenna: Symbol for everlasting destruction for the evil wicked. In the Hebrew Scriptures Gehenna was initially a place where some of the kings of Judah wrongly sacrificed their children by fire. Thereafter it was cursed. (Jeremiah 7:31; 19:2-6) Gehenna is also a destination for the wicked. Gehenna is not Sheol the abode for the dead. However many bibles today refer to both places as Hell.

Matthew 23:27-33 Jesus indicated that many hypocritical religious leaders would go to Gehenna. For those who are beyond repentance and only exist in evil, they go to Gehenna, a symbol for everlasting destruction.

John 5:28-31 “Do not be surprised at this; for a time is coming when all those who are in the tombs will hear His voice. 29 and they will come out those who did good things to a resurrection of [new] life, but those who did evil things [will come out] to a resurrection of judgment [that is, to be sentenced].”

Jesus has “the keys of hell and of death,” showing that he has the authority to release people from the death brought by Adam’s sin.

Revelation 1:18; 20:13 “and the Ever-living One [living in and beyond all time and space]. I died, but see, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of [absolute control and victory over] death and of Hades (the realm of the dead)." "13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and death and Hades (the realm of the dead) surrendered the dead who were in them; and they were judged and sentenced, every one according to their deeds.”

2 Thessalonians 1:8-12 “dealing out [full and complete] vengeance to those who do not [seek to] know God and to those who ignore and refuse to obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus [by choosing not to respond to Him]. 9 These people will pay the penalty and endure the punishment of Not annihilation, but the loss of all meaningful things. Everlasting destruction, banished from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, 10 when He comes to be glorified in His saints on that day [that is, glorified through the changed lives of those who have accepted Him as Savior and have been set apart for His purpose], and to be marveled at among all who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed and trusted [and confirmed in your lives]. 11 With this in view, we constantly pray for you, that our God will count you worthy of your calling [to faith] and with [His] power fulfill every desire for goodness, and complete [your] every work of faith, 12 so that the name of our Lord Jesus will be glorified in you [by what you do], and you in Him, according to the [precious] grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Immmortal Soul: If you read the Bible from cover to cover, you will never find the phrase “immortal soul.” The human soul is not a spirit. The teaching of the immortal soul is not a Bible teaching. It is a teaching by demonic spirits. God actually hates all religious lies. This is why he warns us so many times over in the scriptures to be on the watch.

Spirit Mediums: The demons are able to observe a person when they are alive; they know how the person talked, what they looked like, what they did, and what they knew. So it is easy for them to imitate people who have died. (1 Samuel 28:3-19)

Death of Jesus in The Grave:

Jesus died (God's Son) was then in Sheol at death, mankind's common grave, in the heart of the earth.

Jesus was raised from the dead by the Father who can not ever die. Jesus was fully human, born human (has a beginning), the Final Adam; only a human MAN can pay for human sin. The dead can not raise themselves up from the grave, for they are dead and know nothing. Our Heavenly Father raised Jesus up from the dead. He did it on the third day, which fulfilled the promise and prophecy entirely. The apostles would have been expecting Jesus to be raised from the dead because they were promised that ahead of time. Their faith would have also been tested by this, because if they expected to see Jesus on the third day alive as promised by him, then they would have total faith in their Messiah and also see that what he said was 'the truth and the promise fulfilled'. Even if they had any doubts, some did, their doubts would then very soon be turned to strong faith after the resurrection happened, for they knew Jesus was indeed exactly who he said he was "God's Son".

“As Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man (Jesus) be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” (Matt. 12:40)

Luke 24 Jesus says - and he said to them, “This is what is written: that the Christ would suffer and rise from among the dead on the third day.

Jonah 2:2 we are told Jonah was not dead, he was in the belly of the fish. He was in the depths of the Grave (under water, depths of the earth) Jonah was crying out to God; Jonah was very much alive and conscious when this happened.

A Big Fish can be any large sea creature.

“There came to be a great tempest on the sea . . . And they kept hurling out the articles that were in the ship to the sea, in order to lighten it.”—Jonah 1:4, 5.

It may have been a great white shark.

The American Museum of Natural History in New York City has reconstructed the "jaws" huge teeth of an enormous shark called Carcharodon megalodon; 43 feet long. Sharks have no bones, their shells are made of cartilage. Large numbers of fossilized shark teeth have been found near Malta in the Mediterranean, which would have been right on Jonah’s route from Joppa to Tarshish, assuming that Tarshish means Spain. So some sort of gigantic shark definitely lived in the Mediterranean in the distant past, and possibly in the recent past as well. Jonah needed a miracle to survive inside the fish that swallowed him. {There are some accounts of sailors being swallowed alive by whales and surviving the experience; we also know that whales do not eat humans.} The arrival of the fish was also a miracle, as was the fact that it took Jonah safely to land. Now the resurrection of Jesus also required miraculous help from our Heavenly Father, a miracle.

God Almighty Yahweh was using Jonah’s experience to make a point, to illustrate how He would miraculously save His Son from the grave! Jesus had to die, as a human, in order to pay for human sin. But Jesus did not stay in death in the grave, because our Father raised him from the dead. Performing a miracle and making an everlasting promise for all his people who would in turn believe in his Son. For through Jesus, we all have the gift of everlasting life on resurrection day; from death to life. It was not about only 3 days time, it was about the everlasting promise covenant to God’s people, and the miracles he has in store for us in the coming future.

Jesus has “the keys of hell and of death,” showing that he has the authority to release people from the death brought by Adam’s sin.

Soul Word Study:

Soul: The Bible word “soul” means the person himself, so it should not surprise us to learn that souls can and do die, it is our whole self. When the soul of the wicked die, that means they are no more. The Hebrew word "nephesh" was translated as "soul." The English word usually refers to a non-material essence of a human that survives after death, but nephesh (biblical soul) means something different. It is referring to humans as living, breathing, physical beings, or just to life itself. Prepare to be surprised at the biblical meaning of this fascinating word!

TOP BIBLE VERSES ABOUT END TIMES OR LAST DAYS:

Matthew 24:10-12 “And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.”

Matthew 24:21-22 “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.”

2 Timothy 3:1-5 “But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.”

2 Peter 3:3-4 “Knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.”

Luke 21:11 “There will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences. And there will be terrors and great signs from heaven.”

Jude 1:18-19 “In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions. It is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit.”

Jude 1:14-15 “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his holy ones, to execute judgment on all and to convict all the ungodly of all their deeds of ungodliness that they have committed in such an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things that ungodly sinners have spoken against him”.

We don’t have to be among the ungodly because God has made it possible to have a relationship with Him through the death of his son Jesus Christ. There is no more separation as a result of our sins (Isaiah 59:2) for all who have repented evil, want to do what is good, and also put trust is Jesus Christ our redeemer and not in man of this world or those running this world, nor either in the devil himself.

WHAT DO THE LAST DAYS OR END TIMES MEAN?

When the scriptures talk about the last days or end times, it doesn’t mean the end of the earth or the end of human life. It is a turning point where any evil is done away with on earth. This is something every human wants but cant accomplish it on their own. They may believe they can, however they are given enough time to try and show that they cant. This is why we see the earth today in, well what we would call sort of a total mess. Every single person on earth for example should have a home and food but that isn’t the case is it? Humankind continues to war against each other, but when God steps in, he ends any type of wickedness upon the earth. The earth is then transformed again and a new way of peaceful living begins. God Almighty is a God of love and peace and not a God of war and hate. This is why the scriptures tell us to even love our enemy and to love our neighbor as ourselves.

Matthew 6:10 / Proverbs 2:22 / 1Timothy 4:8 / Ezekiel 34:28 / Psalm 72:16 / Psalm 67:6 / Revelation 21:3-4 / John 5:28-29 / Acts 24:15 / Daniel 2:44 / Isaiah 9:6-7

Who is the Antichrist?

1 John 2:22: “who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son.” (1John 2:18)

The apostle John is the only Bible writer to use the word antichrist. In two of the letters bearing his name, the word appears five times, in both the singular and the plural. From these verses, we can see that the antichrist is a liar and a deceiver, bent on destroying a person’s relationship with Christ and with God Almighty. Accordingly, the apostle urged his fellow Christians: “Beloved ones, do not believe every inspired expression, but test the inspired expressions to see whether they originate with God, because many false prophets have gone forth into the world.” (1John 4:1)

Jesus too warned against deceivers, false prophets, saying: “They come to you in sheep’s covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. By their fruits [or, works] you will recognize them.” (Matthew 7:15, 16)

The words of both Jesus and John plainly indicate that the antichrist is not a single person but is made up of many individual antichrists. Moreover, because they are false prophets, one of their main objectives is “religious deception”.

“Your kingdom come, Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.” - Matthew 6:10

While on earth, Yeshua (Jesus) taught his followers to pray for the very means that God will use to restore righteous conditions earth wide.

The Bible doesn’t say anything about us going to heaven when we die.

God created the Earth for us, that is our eternal home and God makes it all new as it was in the beginning. He transforms the Earth back to its original state!

How blessed we are to inherit our beautiful Earth filled with plentiful gifts and every tree will bear fruit! Can you just imagine what it will be like restored back to its perfect condition!

John 3:13 No one has gone up into heaven; there is only the one who has come down from heaven, the Son of Man (Jesus).

What about when Cain killed Abel? Yahweh said the voice of Abel cried out to me from the ground (Genesis 4:9-10). Yahweh didn’t say to Cain, “Your brother is up here in heaven with Me, and you should not have murdered him.”

Nephesh word study video link.

The Greek equivalent to nephesh is psuche. Psuche is translated “soul” in the New Testament. You find psuche 105 times in the New Testament, and it is capable of nearly as many applications as is the Hebrew word nephesh, even used of man’s moods, passions, and feelings. Psuche’s basic meaning is the life force that animates the body. As in the Old Testament, nowhere is immortality associated with the soul in the New Testament.

Many are confused by soul and spirit. In the New Testament spirit is pneuma. Spirit is the breath of life that Yahweh breathed into Adam to make him come alive. It is the breath of life that goes back to Yahweh, not an immortal soul.

Paul in 1Timothy 6:16 said the Father Yahweh is the only one with immortality. We don’t have it naturally within us. If we at some point are granted immortality it is only because He gives it to us, just as He gave it to Yeshua.

Ecclesiastes 3:18-22 shows us the universal nature of physical life:

“Concerning people, I said to myself, “God is testing them, so that they will see that by themselves they are just animals. 19 After all, the same things that happen to people happen to animals, the very same thing — just as the one dies, so does the other. Yes, their breath is the same; so that humans are no better than animals; since nothing matters, anyway. 20 They all go to the same place; they all come from dust, and they all return to dust. 21 Who knows if the spirit of a human being goes upward and the spirit of an animal goes downward into the earth?” 22 So I concluded that there is nothing better for a person to do than take joy in his activities, that that is his allotted portion; for who can enable him to see what will happen after him?”

Here we see that without Gods power we are nothing and we can’t give ourselves eternal life without God alone. We do not go to heaven on our own when we die. God Almighty Yahweh granted us eternal life “on earth” not in heaven, through His Son Yeshua, the son of man. We however inherit the earth, we DO NOT inherit heaven. No where does the Bible tell us that we are all going to heaven. Some will push this view of course however this is NOT what God tells us.

“Look! I am making all things new.”—Revelation 21:4, 5.

Will the Earth be destroyed?

“For the Son of Man’s coming will be just as it was in the days of Noah”. — Matthew 24:37. (‘The Son of Man’ = Yeshua Messiah; Jesus Christ). Was the Earth destroyed in Noahs day, No, it was cleansed by the Flood. The second will be by fire and the wicked world system we know today will be destroyed; but the Earth will be “made new”, cleansed and restored a second time.

Gods Earth (His own Creation) will never be destroyed, burned in fire, or replaced. The Bible teaches that God created the earth to be inhabited forever. The Bible states: “[God] has established the earth on its foundations; it will not be moved from its place forever and ever.” (Psalm 104:5) That scripture and others assure us that God will neither destroy the earth nor allow it to be destroyed ever! (Ecclesiastes 1:4; Isaiah 45:18). — Evolution however teaches that the earth will become extinct and the UN is now pushing a 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development. The UN website says: "Climate change is an unprecedented and growing threat – to peace and prosperity". (see article). Also this wicked world system says the earth is over populated, which is not true at all. God tells us to fill the earth and that he stretches it out like a tent (Isaiah 40:22). God never says there will be no room, he created humans to fill the earth and to inhabit the earth forever.

Look at the Earth and how many incredibly beautiful things God created within it. He did not do this ALL for nothing. He has a grand purpose that mankind will never destroy!

Will humans ruin the Earth?

God will not allow humans to ruin the earth completely by pollution, warfare, or any other means. Rather, he will “bring to ruin those ruining the earth.” (Revelation 11:18) How will he accomplish that?

God will replace human governments, which have been ‘unable to protect the earth’, with a perfect heavenly Kingdom. (Daniel 2:44; Matthew 6:9, 10) That Kingdom will be ruled by God’s Son, Yeshua Messiah (Jesus Christ). (Isaiah 9:6, 7) When on earth, Jesus exercised miraculous powers over natural elements. (Mark 4:35-41) As the King of God’s Kingdom, Jesus will exercise full control over earth and its elements. He will re-create, or renew, conditions on earth, making them similar to those that existed in the garden of Eden. (Matthew 19:28; Luke 23:43).

Doesn’t the Bible teach that the earth will be burned in fire?

No, it does not. Such a misconception often comes from a misunderstanding of 2 Peter 3:7, which says: “The heavens and the earth that now exist are reserved for fire.” Consider two important points that help us understand the meaning of those words:

  1. The Bible uses the terms “heavens,” “earth,” and “fire” to refer to more than one thing. For example, Genesis 11:1 says: “All the earth continued to be of one language.” Here, “earth” refers to human society.

  2. The context of 2 Peter 3:7 indicates the meaning of the heavens, earth, and fire mentioned there. Verses 5-6 draw a parallel with the Flood of Noah’s day. On that occasion, an ancient corrupted world was destroyed, yet our earth did not disappear; it was fully cleansed, washed clean by the flood. The Flood wiped out a violent society, or “earth.” (Genesis 6:11) It also destroyed a kind of “heavens”—the people who ruled over that earthly society. Thus, wicked people were destroyed, BUT not our earth. Noah and his family survived the destruction of that world and inhabited the earth after the Flood. God protected them “through” it, because they listened and obeyed His every word. They were not raptured out but protected and sealed into the arc, hidden from danger. (Genesis 8:15-18). Noah was age 600 when the Flood occurred, (pay close attention to dates; ages at that time.)

Similar to the waters of the Flood, the destruction, or ‘fire’, of 2 Peter 3:7 will bring an end to the world of wicked people, not to the Earth. God promises “new heavens and a new earth” in which “righteousness is to dwell.” (2 Peter 3:13) A “new earth,” or new human society, will be ruled over by “new heavens,” or new leadership—God’s Kingdom. Under the rule of that Kingdom, the earth will become a peaceful paradise.—(Revelation 21:1-4).

When will the end come?

The end is not a random, unscheduled event.

The Bible reveals that the end is scheduled—God has set a specific time for it. We read: “Concerning that day or the hour nobody knows, neither the angels in heaven nor the Son (Jesus), but the Father (only). Keep looking, keep awake, for you do not know when the appointed time is.” (Mark 13:32, 33) Clearly, God (“the Father”) has scheduled the exact ‘appointed time’ when He will initiate the end.

What will bring about the end?

Revelation 19:11 says: “I saw heaven opened, and look! a white horse. And the one seated on it is called Faithful and True.” Verse 19 continues: “And I saw the wild beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the one seated on the horse and against his army.” (Revelation 19:11-21) Though much of the language here is symbolic, we can readily discern this much: God will send an army of angelic creatures to exterminate his enemies.

“[God] is bringing an end to wars throughout the earth.” (Psalm 46:9) “Only the upright will reside in the earth, and the blameless will remain in it. As for the wicked, they will be cut off from the earth, and the treacherous will be torn away from it.” (Proverbs 2:21, 22) “Look! I am making all things new.”—Revelation 21:4, 5.

Jesus Christ said: “Now this is the basis for judgment: that the light has come into the world, but men have loved the darkness rather than the light, for their works were wicked.” (John 3:19) The Bible describes an earlier worldwide destruction during the time of the faithful man Noah. “The world of that time suffered destruction when it was flooded with water. But by the same word the heavens and the earth that now exist are reserved for fire and are being kept until the day of judgment and of destruction of the ungodly people.”—2 Peter 3:5-7.

Note that the upcoming “day of judgment and of destruction” is compared with the destruction of “the world” of Noah’s time. That wicked world was destroyed and the earth fully cleansed by the flood. So Our Earth survived; it was “the ungodly people”—God’s enemies—who “suffered destruction.” During God’s upcoming “day of judgment,” those who choose to be God’s enemies will likewise be destroyed. But God’s friends will be preserved, as were Noah and his family. (Matthew 24:37-42).

What will it be like after the end?

Many scriptures describe that wonderful time. For example: “‘[God] will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. And the One seated on the throne said: ‘Look! I am making all things new.’” (Revelation 21:4, 5) The end does not have to mean the end of your life. God wants us to survive, and he tells us exactly how.

Revelation Symbolism and Meaning:

Who is the god of this fallen world system today?

The god of this world and “temporary ruler” of this “world system” of things is the Devil called Satan:

1 John 5:19 (CJB) = We know that we are from God, and that the whole world lies in the power of the Evil One.

Ephesians 6:12 = We are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil spiritual rulers and authorities, and against mighty powers in this dark world.

2 Corinthians 4:4 (KJV) = In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

John 12:31 (CJB) = Now is the time for this world to be judged, now the ruler of this world will be expelled.

John 14:30 = I will not speak with you much longer, for the ruler of the world (Satan) is coming. And he has no claim on Me [no power over Me nor anything that he can use against Me]

1 John 5:5-6 (CJB) = Who does overcome the world if not the person who believes that Yeshua is the Son of God? 6. He is the one who came by means of water and blood, Yeshua the Messiah — not with water only, but with the water and the blood. And the Spirit bears witness, because the Spirit is the truth.

Galatians 1:4 (CJB) = who gave himself for our sins, so that he might deliver us from the present evil world-system, in obedience to the will of God, our Father.

Satan is the “temporary ruler of this world system”  —  Because the Bible tells us that Satan’s end has already been determined:

Revelation 20:10-15 = And the devil who had deceived them was hurled into the lake of fire and burning brimstone (sulfur), where the beast (Antichrist) and false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night, forever and ever. 11.And I saw a great white throne and Him who was seated upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them [for this heaven and earth are passing away]. 12. And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the Book of Life; and the dead were judged according to what they had done as written in the books [that is, everything done while on earth]. 13. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and death and Hades (the realm of the dead) surrendered the dead who were in them; and they were judged and sentenced, every one according to their deeds. 14. Then death and Hades [the realm of the dead] were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire [the eternal separation from God]. 15. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the Book of Life, he was hurled into the lake of fire.
